Twas several days before Christmas and all throughout Spangdahlem, everyone was busy, especially postal Airmen.
Working as Santa’s helpers, these Airmen and volunteers processed more than 185,000 pounds of gifts and holiday cheer!
Coming from the North Pole or from mom and dad near Fort Knox, these helpers have been notifying Sabers of their packages with yellow slips in their mailbox.
Day in and day out these Santa recruits have been stacking and filing your holiday loot.
Emptying trucks and stocking shelves, the work has been demanding for these uniformed elves.
It’s too late to mail packages back to the states, so your potential gift may have to wait!
At 8 p.m. on the 24th, the post office closes up tight, but they wish Saber Nation “Happy Holidays!” and to all a good night.
